Hello, I’m Fiona Ritchie.

Since 2009 I have been designing and manufacturing beautiful, quality jewellery to make women feel "Just Gorgeous" at any age.

Just Gorgeous jewellery was named by my customers. Often their first comment when they first saw my jewellery was "that’s just gorgeous".

From humble beginnings as a market retailer at Takapuna market and Coatesville market in 2009, my Just Gorgeous jewellery is starting to be recognised around New Zealand and is now being retailed by quality stores including the prestigious Smith & Caughey's stores. I have now developed an extensive designer collection including Kiwiana styles and my newest Retro Collection.

I am now based in my workshop / studio on our small farm in the Hunua Ranges south of Auckland. I am assisted by a local lady, Sonia, who manages our stock quality and control.

With my designs, I create beautiful pieces that draw attention, are individual, while reflecting your style. I am inspired by European fashion trends and I aim to create jewellery with our unique New Zealand flair that complements contemporary fashion.

Colour is a very important factor in my jewellery designs. Enamel is a wonderful medium for providing a richness and vibrancy of colour to enhance your complexion and wardrobe. My use of stones and texture provides accents to my designs that make them truly stunning and eye-catching.

When designing, I consider the neckline that the jewellery piece would be suitable to wear with, "v necks",
scoop necks, turtle necks, cowl necks, collared; as well as empire line and waisted styles, and short, midi
and maxi styles.

I also consider, whether the piece can translate from day into evening, from casual into formal. I want you to be able to wear your Just Gorgeous jewellery with a wide range of outfits including jeans, summer dresses, work suits and your little black dress. I also consider ladies’ body shape, including height and size, and their preference for small or large pieces.

In designing necklace and earring sets, I ensure that the set looks perfectly matched in size and shape when worn together, or fabulous when either the necklace, or earrings, are worn on their own. Often I create bracelets or brooches that can be coordinated with a number of my necklaces or earrings.

My Just Gorgeous jewellery pieces range from the small and delicate to the flamboyant. Whatever your style, I always try to ensure there is an innate elegance, femininity and quality to my designs. My necklace and bracelets include a metal logo charm detailing their New Zealand origin.

Just Gorgeous ladies continue to tell me that they receive lots of complements when they wear Just Gorgeous jewellery. Customers say where they have given one of my pieces as a gift, the lady receiving it has been absolutely delighted.
